the revolution will b microblogged.
this macro-blog is written as an extension to my micro-blogging (aka twitter) of the #IranElections (or as I prefer to hash it: #IranFraud). I’m tired from the last 3 (?) days of non-stop RT’s of those that have brought ‘food’ back to the ant-nest of twitterfall’s #IranElection. Hours of Internet searching for relevant ‘gems’ to bring back to Queen Twitter.
in a word, I’m TIRED. I feel somewhat (somewhat!) like I’ve been thru it with ‘comrades in Iran’ and fellow micro-journalists… each in #weargreen. each with their own ‘war stories’ that are the reality behind their tweets. We get tv feedback (and lately we ARE the journalists, because of the clampdown today of the ‘Foreign Journalists’. Now (6-16-2009 9:00PM CST) listening to Christina Amanpour on AC360.com (on tv) telling us that they are not able to go anywhere (the state run media covered the state-run rally, only (!)) Basically, Mass Media is Neutered in Iran right now. But us scrappy twitheads, us valiant brothers few, keep the info going! We have our (too small) cadre of Insiders in Iran that are so fiercely fighting for their rights to a LEGAL election. (Now Iranian Kaveh Afrasiabi - Iranian Political Scientist is declaring that Mousavi’s claims to having actually won the election is disputed as well - and it’s up to them (Mousavi camp) to ‘carry the burden of proof’. Christiane argues strongly that there were Monitors at the stations, but many Mousavi’s Monitors were not ‘accredited’ and thus unable to do their duty of observation of the election. She then slam dances into the fact that SMS Crackdown on election day was unfair to Mousavi, especially since “President” Ahmahandjob (sorry, I refuse to give this clown the benefit of a true name!) has the power of the State COMPLETELY behind him. (some video of a kid holding up a cartoon of a Mushroom Cloud is seen in the crowd, sigh)…. but I go on… this isn’t the ‘news’ I’ve come to blog. That happens when ur tired and ur twittered out. uh.
my right arm aches from mouse movements (scanning articles, scanning tweetdeck, etc). my wrist is definetly (and hopefully temporarily) carpal. and, yes, my thoughts are 140. totally. #iran #in #my #head #election.
